The Kinetiq Settlement Module was initially developed
for the deregulated Ontario
Market in Canada. Settlement requirements for Ontario
include many of the elements common to most markets:
• Data Management
Collection and storage of interval (time-of-use) data
from distribution network and individual customer meters.
Importing and storage of hourly market price files from
market operator.
• Data Aggregation
Aggregation of interval data including the addition
and subtraction of a number of data steams for profiling
purposes.
• Load Profile Management
Development of load profiles from aggregated metering
data and importing of profiles from third party systems.
• Data Export
Export of calculated weighted daily average prices and
system loss factors to third party CIS/Billing systems
or to the Kinetiq Billing
module.
The Kinetiq Settlement module also includes a selection
of reporting and graphical analysis tools to assist
retailers in meeting market settlement requirements.
